tissue paper flower tutorial

i absolutely love wrapping presents
and thought that i would share with you one of my favorite wrapping tricks -
the tissue paper flower!
i feel a bit like an infomercial saying it,
but these little flowers are seriously so quick and easy
and can make a simple present that much sweeter.
ALL YOU NEED
- scissors
- stapler
fold up the tissue paper so you get a whole bunch of layers,
cut your whole folded stack square into a flower.
i usually just freehand a flower shape as i cut,
but you could also draw a flower on the top of your square.
i like to separate all of the flower layers,
and then stagger the petals as i layer them back together.
then staple the stack together in the middle.
take the first layer of the flower and pinch it so it fluffs,
then do that with each layer after.
i found that pinching and crumpling each layer separately
makes a fluffier flower.
and that is seriously all there is!
a little bit of tape on the back
and you are ready to wrap the cutest present you ever saw :]
